How can I reprocess the images to adopt new background color

I was using Default theme (white background). Then I went to Onyx theme which I will be using now on. I want the images to use background for Onyx theme. Ideally it should not be an issue if images were not preprocessed to square or used transparent fill. However now my images show white or black edges instead of #34373D. I want all images processed to get the new color.

Wardrobe currently doesn't offer a built-in method to re-process your images. You'd have to change them in an image processing software and re-upload them.
