I've noticed a unexpected working if i work with links to folders. If a dress contains a link to folder1 and folder1 by self contains a link to folder2 not everything will be worn as excepted. In this case the dress and contents of folder1 will be added. The contents of folder2 and deeper will not be added. To avoid duplication i often work with links and it would really help it the deepness of folder links can be increased. Is this restriction intentional or can it be adjusted?

I don't think it's related to links. By default, only the objects in the main folder are put on. If you want Wardrobe to also add the objects in subfolders you have two options:

  • In Preferences > Dressing you can set a global option to always put on the objects in all subfolders: to do that tick the check box labeled "Put on all the items contained in the subfolders of the selected folder".
  • For more fine-grained control which subfolders should be put on, use the "Subfolders" line on your Wardrobe items. It should contain a comma-separated list of names of the subfolders you want Wardrobe to put on when you click the "Quick Dress" icon (the plain shirt icon).

I have already selected the option include subfolders in preferences. But I have noted now that it seams to have nothing with links to folders to do. Also if i put directly folders with the items in there they won't be attached. No idea why. If i add the subfolders to the "Subfolders" line everything works fine. Any idea why the global preference does not work? I use the "Clothing Type System" which i really love.
