Layout difference between skins

Using the Pure Black skin the layout looks like this : Karin Knipper’s Wardrobe - (CTS) Wardrobe and 2 more pages - Personal - Microsoft​ Edge (gyazo.com)

can the layout be changed to the same as the Onyx one and if so how ?

The full path display is a feature of the "Pure Black" skin.

The high contrast theme was designed to help visually challenged people, and the full path helps by providing the information on one line so you don't have to move your eyes across the tag hierarchy.
