My body is a single object (feet/hands/body etc). So the only way I can change my footshape is using a dummy object which gets equipped, sends a message to the body to change the footshape and then detaches itself.

I've Managed to set up multiple of these objects for each foot shape (flat/low/mid/high/etc) as a base out fit. And I can for example, add some high heels and then manually edit those high heels to attach the high foot base outfit. So it works.

But I'm wondering if there is a way to properly automate this, I.e, have one of my tags/categories like 'High heels' automatically attach the high heel base outfit, rather than having to set this up for every single heel I add? I have literally hundreds which isn't really feasible/something I want to setup on a per shoe basis for the various foot shapes.

Mareth has written a nice tutorial about this:

https://purrslikeakitten.wordpress.com/cts-wardrobe/3-adding-items/body-auto-scripts/

The basic idea is to create auto-detaching objects that will set the foot shape, create one Wardrobe item per foot shape setter and add that to "Put on more outfits" in the "Dressing" tab when you edit the Wardrobe item you want to use the foot shape automation for.

Currently I cover Maitreya on those pages, It will be remediated to be more generic using both Maitreya and Legacy as examples. The concept though is the same for other bodies provided they come with the tools that allow you to make your own auto foot position and auto hide objects.
