Tagging
(By SuicideBlonde Scheflo)
This is a brief description of my tagging system. This is only an example that you can use as a guide when you're getting started. My tagging system is very straightforward. I don't use a numerical or special character coding system when tagging. My Tags are grouped alphabetically. I use colons to create sub-tags. (eg., Clothing: Lingerie: Bra-Panties, Clothing: Lingerie: Stockings)
It's only important that you set up your tags so they make sense to YOU. No one else has to be able to understand your method. You can always go back and edit your tags if you change your game plan later on.
It bears mentioning that 90% (if not more) of my uploads to my website are individual items, not complete styled outfits. When I do take the time to style and save a complete outfit, the components of that outfit are also uploaded on their own, ie., the shoes, the hair, the jewelry, the clothing, etc. I tag the complete outfit with one of the 'Styled Outfits:' tags.
Send me an IM if you'd like a link to my wardrobe website. Good Luck and message anytime if you have questions.

Some additional tips and information:
- TAG TAG TAG! As your website grows in number, you will want to be able to easily find specific items. The more tags an item has, the better. For example, you may remember the *store designer for the item you're looking for. Or that the item was {red} or had a {daisy} on it. Use those keywords as tags to help track down the item.
- You can also use your global search (not your tags search) to get a complete list of items you've uploaded that include the keyword. ie, 'red' will pull up any item that you have used the word 'red' either in the name, a tag, or in the remarks.
- With the most recent v2.5 update you also have the option of using a Hierarchical Tagging system. For most of us that already have our tagging system in place, it's a redundant feature. If you would like to implement this feature, you can always go back and edit your tags to group them using a forward slash ("/") or double right arrows ("'>>"). Those separators will display your tags in subgroups. You can test the waters with the hierarchical subfoldering system. I sampled the feature for my {colors} tags as a test. However, I didn't find it useful for my tagging system, so I stopped there. If you like this method and need help getting started, message me anytime.
